Mandate

1. Imparting education in Agriculture and other allied branches of learning and scholarship.
2. Advancement of learning and prosecution of research in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and other allied branches
3. Undertaking the extension education of such sciences for the benefit of the rural people of the State, and
4. Such other purpose as the university may from time to time determine.
