Library Advisory Committee – a policy making body - decides the guidelines for smooth functioning of the Library. This Committee has Vice-Chancellor as its Chairman and University Librarian as its Member-Secretary. All the Deans/Directors, Registrar, Principal, College of Agriculture, Kaul and President of HAUTA are its ex-officio members while one HOD, one faculty member and one PG student from each College are nominated by the Vice-Chancellor for two academic years. The Vice-Chancellor prefers to hold the meetings of LAC in the Library Committee Room so that he and other Members may get an overview of  what  library  is/has    been  doing.
