The University spent about Rs. 214.91 lakhs on collection development, about Rs. 153.87 lakhs on staff salaries,  Rs. 69.08 lakhs on other items such as  modernization of  library services during 2007-08. Though the major share comes from the State Govt, ICAR provides substantial financial assistance for developmental activities such as modernization of library services, strengthening of collection development etc. Modernization of the library would not have been possible, had the ICAR not come forward with financial input. The Growth Chart is indicative of the financial health of the library during its 37 years of life span.
