Department of History

The evolution of human civilization has reached an important milestone in present century. Human history has always been a subject of much debate and attraction. The History (Honors) course covers human civilization from time immemorial to recent times. An honours course in History enables students to pursue career in Administration, Civil Services, Journalism, Mass Communication, Teaching, Research Archaeology and Museology. Our faculty members are specialists in their relevant fields and guide students in their academic as well as overall personality development. The department also offers an Application Course on Tourism for B.A. (Prog.) III yr students .
